Spring Quilt Market 2012

Just returned from Quilt Market in Kansas City, Missouri.  It was a great show for us and we had several new quilt shops place orders for our patterns - yeah!!!!

We camped in our 5th wheel at Lake Jacomo in Missouri while at market - it was so pretty and peaceful. 

On the drive home we found some great old screen doors in Nebraska to use for display in our booth.

Fall Quilt Festival

We have finally settled after attending the Fall Quilt Festival in Houston. It was a great show - here are some pictures of our booth:

Long Beach Quilt Festival

Just got back from the Long Beach International Quilt Festival. Our booth did really well - it was so busy. Our next show will be the Fall International Quilt Festival in Houston, Texas Nov. 3 - 7.

"Oh Christmas Tree"

Our famous "Oh Christmas Tree" quilt designed and made by my mom Ardie Skjod, was chosen for a new exhibit "Award winning traditional quilts" at the "International Quilt Festival" in Long Beach. Two more of her quilts were chosen for this exhibit. We will be selling this pattern and more including kits and a new line of primitive dolls and other hand did whimsies in booth 1014.

New Christmas tree quilt in the works

I am finishing up a new version of the famous "Oh Christmas Tree" quilt - this one is much smaller so it goes together pretty easy. It is still all made from 1" squares. This quilt will preview at the "International Quilt Festival" in Long Beach. We'll be in booth 1014.

New candle mats

I have 2 new candle mats - getting ready for the holidays.

Bees and Blossoms

I just finished this little quilt - I love it. The top was easy to assemble and the applique is all done with wool and black pearl cotton - very fun.
